United States Magistrate Judge Boyd N. Boland has served as a magistrate judge since February 2000. He has presided over trials and evidentiary hearings; conducted hundreds of settlement conferences; and issued orders and recommendations on numerous motions involving the gamut of federal jurisdiction. Prior to taking the bench, Judge Boland was a partner in the litigation department of the Denver law firm of Holme Roberts & Owen LLP. Judge Boland has also been an assistant professor of Constitutional Law at Mississippi College School of Law in Jackson, Mississippi, and served as a law clerk to the Honorable Paul V.
