Shari is a founding member of COALSP, and is currently serving her fourth
term as the Association President. Shari is the Practice Support Services
Manager at Holme Roberts & Owen in Denver. She has over 30 years of legal
experience (and has seen a lot of changes in those 30 years!). Shari has
published an article, and spoken at numerous seminars on legal technology.
Shari is a Dataflight Certified Software Administrator and is CaseMap /

Michael is currently the Director of Practice Support for Holland & Hart. He has
over 15 years experience working with technology in the legal industry. He
has oversight of all legal applications at Holland & Hart. His duties routinely
engage him in the discovery process of electronically stored information for
Holland & Hart's clients. His group facilitates most EDD needs of Holland &
Hart's clients. Prior to joining Holland & Hart, Michael was the Information
Systems Director for Hennigan, Bennett & Dorman LLP. While there, he
helped its professionals to achieve the best results for their clients through
the use of technology. He regularly provided assistance to external clients for
extranet and other technology based needs related to litigation. He also
oversaw and provided courtroom automation support and handled several
high profile trials while at Hennigan. Prior to joining Hennigan, Michael
worked for Baker & Hostetler, a 600-attorney law firm providing IT support.
Starting as a Network Administrator, he was promoted to the position of IT
manager over three California offices and, after an IT reorganization, assumed
the role of National Training Manager.

Mary is a native of Colorado and has been a litigation paralegal for over 20
years. She is currently a paralegal at Brownstein Hyatt Farber Schreck, LLP.
Mary graduated from the University of Denver with a Bachelor of Fine Arts
degree and subsequently earned her paralegal certification from Arapahoe
Community College in 1987. Mary’s work experience was initiated in 1988 in
the Denver area, followed by 8 years in the San Francisco bay area. In 1996
Mary and her husband returned to the Denver area where they now currently
reside in Aurora. Although Mary’s work has crossed many areas of practice,
including trademark law, her primary focus of work has always been in
complex business litigation.

Having worked as a Litigation Paralegal and Practice Support Specialist for
the past 7 years, Kay’s experience includes patent and copyright infringement,
employment, trade secrets, real estate, bankruptcy, legal and medical
malpractice, securities, DOJ investigations, arbitration and mediation. She
has lectured on numerous issues, including eDiscovery Skills for Support
Staff, eDiscovery Basics, eDiscovery and Privacy Issues, eDiscovery Primer for
Paralegals and Associates, Litigation Basics, A Paralegal’s Role in Discovery
and Paralegal Student Technology Basics. Kay is co-chair of the Colorado
Bar Association’s Paralegal Committee and serves on the Arapahoe
Community College’s Paralegal Studies Advisory Committee.

Jeff is a founding member of COALSP, and is currently serving his fourth term
as the Association Treasurer. Jeff is the Litigation Technology Support
Manager at Davis Graham & Stubbs. Jeff previously worked as a Litigation
Technology Analyst in the Orlando, Florida office of Holland & Knight LLP from
1999 until 2004, and as a Marketing Coordinator and Project Manager for
Compulit, Inc. in Michigan from 1992 to 1999. Jeff is a Summation Certified
Trainer (SCT), a Dataflight Certified Software Administrator (DCSA), and
CaseMap/TimeMap Support Certified.

Kathleen is a founding member of COALSP, and is currently serving her fifth
term as the Association Secretary. Kathleen also created and maintains the
COALSP website. Kathleen is a Practice Support Specialist at Holme,
Roberts & Owen, LLP. She has 20 years of experience in the legal
profession, including 15 years as a civil litigation paralegal with a strong
emphasis in automated litigation support applications and practices.
Kathleen has worked as a civil litigation paralegal for various private law firms
in Honolulu, Hawaii and Denver, Colorado. Kathleen is CaseMap / TimeMap
Support Certified.
