COALSP sponsored a full day educational seminar, "The eDiscovery Summit" on March 2, 2007.
COALSP's "eDiscovery Summit" was very well attended and provided members with an in-depth
discussion of topics relating to the Federal Rule Changes concerning electronic discovery and
evidence. A fabulous panel of speakers shared their wide range of knowledge on varying topics
relating to the changes to the Federal Rules of Civil Procedure. Click here to view a list of the

Cypher Services, Inc. . Mr. Johnson gave a very informative session concerning the services and

Elections were concluded for COALSP's new Board of Directors for 2007-2008. See the "COALSM
Board" page for voting results. Mr. Tom O'Connor from the Legal Electronic Document Institute
traveled to Denver for COALSP's annual Open Membership meeting sponsored by Caselogistix. Mr.
O'Connor discussed Strategies for Courtroom Technology.
July 2007
COALSP monthly "Lunch & Learn" presentation by David Vanderport from eTrial Communications.
Mr. Vanderport explained the functionality and ease of use with regard to Brief-Lynx® and provided a
demonstration of the capabilities of Brief-Lynx®.
August 2007
COALSP hosted well attended CaseMap paralegal and support certification classes. The classes

Verdical, a new product being offered by Verdict Systems, the makers of Sanction, was
demonstrated to COALSP members at the September Lunch & Learn. Mike Hahn, CIO of Verdict
