COALSM sponsored a full day educational seminar, "The eDiscovery Summit" on March 2, 2007.
COALSM's "eDiscovery Summit" was very well attended and provided members with an in-depth
discussion of topics relating to the Federal Rule Changes concerning electronic discovery and
evidence. A fabulous panel of speakers shared their wide range of knowledge on varying topics

Elections were concluded for COALSM's new Board of Directors for 2007-2008. See the "COALSM
Board" page for voting results. Mr. Tom O'Connor from the Legal Electronic Document Institute
traveled to Denver for COALSM's annual Open Membership meeting sponsored by Caselogistix. Mr.
O'Connor discussed Strategies for Courtroom Technology.

COALSM monthly "Lunch & Learn" presentation by David Vanderport from eTrial Communications.
Mr. Vanderport explained the functionality and ease of use with regard to Brief-Lynx® and provided a
demonstration of the capabilities of Brief-Lynx®.

COALSM hosted well attended CaseMap paralegal and support certification classes. The classes

demonstrated to COALSM members at the September Lunch & Learn. Mike Hahn, CIO of Verdict
